cool.. but the shot looks very watery.. you should have turned it off like 10 seconds earlier instead of getting so much blond coffee in ur cup.

  • furrycanuck says:

This is interesting- and I don’t see blonding…

very cool. what filter basket did you use?
    how many grams of coffee?

  • mattypsychosupreme says:

I would imagine its a triple basket with aprox 21g dose.

  • BaristaSebastiaan says:

    yup!

The shot duration was appr. 45s. Conventional wisdom says it should be around 25s. How does the taste compare to a single shot with the usual timing?

  • djn1kon says:

ahah, oh man, got a kick out of this, just brewtal.

  • Boomerette says:

Holy wah!! Where’d you find the triple spout? The Brewtus is mad cool–think I’ll save up for one.

  • vanorden1 says:

Adjust your grind out a bit. Your crema is too light and shot time was too long. Even with a triple basket it should take 25s.

Love the machine and appreciate the video… but 45 seconds is quite long.

Did I say I love the machine??

  • thehate448 says:

….. wtf??? and i believe u didnt say that lol

  • roccosside says:

People depending tamp and grind three shots may take more than 25 seconds. Chill It is all good. This machine rocks and is light years past a silvia as the price should suggest.Disclaimer I have some Italian blood

  • drofallmods says:

wow! more idiocy! coffee sufficient for ONE double stretched into three cups! you gotta be kidding. and using cold cups from atop the machine!!!!! disgusting.

  • grokker says:

@roccosside haha you are a fag.

We have a similar thingy where I work, and I’m not keen on it for a few reasons. It blondes a lot quicker than a double it makes a very thick messy crema and it’s not the right dims for a “triple”. It’s more of a long double. Shot time is anyones guess with it (it’s more coffee in the same diameter basket, just deeper so your grind for a double doesn’t work)

Having said that, cutting it slightly early can still make a very tasty espresso, and it’s fast for 3 shot drinks.
