If you weren’t watching, this was a cappuccino. Making a latte is completely different.

  • 303Miles says:

She didn’t tamp or level it? smh FAIL.

  • 303Miles says:

and a SPOON?? A really great barista told me one time that a good barista doesn’t need a spoon. I haven’t used one since.

  • Hollowbarista says:

I say: No need to mock leveling- the video has clearly been edited(tho poorly) to jump over that part. If you want that, look at How to Tamp Espresso Grinds video by her as well.
Spoon? Look at How to Make Wet & Dry Cappuccinos video to learn some of different types of cappuccinos in existence.

A true cappuccino is NOT 1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk, 1/3 foam. That is the wrongly made American cappuccino and they taste like shit. A true cappuccino is 1.5 ounces of espresso and 4.5 ounces of micro-foamed whole milk. Her cappuccino looks like whipped egg whites.. disgusting. Experts? Bullshit.

  • misterniko171 says:

True.. you should never use a spoon. The milk should be micro-foamed and have the same velvety texture throughout the mixture.

  • misterniko171 says:

No, the only difference between a cappuccino is a latte is the size. Caps are 6 ounces & lattes are 12 ounces. This lady made her cappuccino wrong. The milk should be microfoamed and you can do art on a cappuccino as well as a latte.

  • jhonston666 says:

    Loalzz..

  • gabepowderwindham says:

6 ounces is a traditional capp. When they came over to America we screwed them up by making a capp a marketing scheme. There is no wet and dry either. There is a capp and a latte. I guess there could be an idiot beverage too. You should remove all of your videos about coffee, you dumb *****!

  • guitarsly111 says:

    failll :P

  • Acorli says:

Everytime i hear from a customer 1/3 espresso 1/3 milk 1/3 foam i start to scream! For a Capp u will really need: 1 Shot of espresso and homogeneous steamed milk. Just as seen on 1.000.000 of Barista videos on this site.
    Please don´t miff!
